FTC Update

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has made it illegal to solicit consumers with prerecorded telemarketing calls unless the consumer has given written permission to do so.  Under the new rules, sellers and marketers can face penalties up to $16,000 per call if they transmit a prerecorded message to a consumer who has not agreed in writing to accept those messages.  Click here to see the complete article.
